Black History Month Resources CPHR Saskatchewan is proud to recognize and celebrate Black History Month each year during the month of February. The month of February gives us all the chance to celebrate the diversity and achievements of Black people in Canada. However, it is also a time to reflect on Canada’s painful history and the distinct challenges that Black people in Canada continue to face in their daily lives, such as systemic barriers, racism and discrimination. The following resources are provided by the Canadian Heritage Museum. https://www.cphrsk.ca/page/BlackHistoryMonth
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Resources The following is a list of resources for members and the public to assist with education and taking action to ensure safe workplaces in Saskatchewan. https://www.cphrsk.ca/page/DEIResources
Mental Health Resources The following resources are provided by Bell Let's Talk, an initiative launched in 2010, that started a national conversation about mental health. Bell Let's Talk is focused on 4 key action pillars: fighting the stigma, improving access to care, supporting world class research, and leading by example in workplace mental health. If you are in crisis, please go to the closest hospital or call 9-1-1. If you're thinking about suicide, call or text 9-8-8 toll-free anytime. https://www.cphrsk.ca/page/MentalHealthResources
Truth & Reconciliation Resources CPHR Saskatchewan will be closed annually on September 30th, in honour of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, also known as Orange Shirt Day. To acknowledge this day, CPHR Saskatchewan has shared a list of resources, provided by the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce, that you can access to commemorate Orange Shirt Day. https://www.cphrsk.ca/page/OrangeShirtDay
