What is a Protégé? A Protégé is an active partner who receives advice, coaching, assistance and feedback from a more experienced person, resulting in the enhancement of the Protégé's
professional career. The Protégé must be internally motivated to learn in order for the relationship to be successful.
Please note: the CPHR Saskatchewan Professional Mentoring Program is meant to link established human resources professionals with emerging HR professionals and HR professionals looking to transition into new fields of interest and is not intended to be used for job placement . Professional Members (CPHRs) - as a participant in the Mentorship Program, you are eligible to claim up to 10.0 CPD hours. It is important to maintain a Mentoring Record for submission and verification, as required, for eligibility of CPD hours. It is the participant's responsibility to maintain these records. How to Apply: Click the link below to apply for the 2026 Mentorship Program. Please review the resources above, outlining program expectations, role responsibilities, and membership renewal before applying. Applications will be accepted until November 21, 2025. Applicants will be notified of partnership matches mid- December 2025. For previous Mentorship Program participants, if you are interested in joining the program again, you must re-apply to participate each year. If you know of someone you would like to be matched with, please indicate this in your application. NOTE: If you would like to participate as BOTH a Mentor and a Protégé, please complete one application for each role.
