The CPHR Saskatchewan Board of Directors have approved the following for its members:

Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) 
The Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD UK)and CPHR Canada have entered a Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) to recognize each organizations' certification programs (CPHR, and Chartered MCIPD). 

CPHRs– This is an opportunity to earn the Chartered MCIPD credential. Once you become a member of CIPD you will be awarded the equivalent membership grade of Chartered MCIPD, provided your level of experience is deemed appropriate.  

To take advantage of this opportunity please visit CIPD webpage and complete their member application form. You will need to provide a receipt of your CPHR Saskatchewan Professional Membership and a current curriculum vitaeAdditional information on CIPD Membership Fees can be found here.

Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM Nigeria) 
The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria and CPHR Canada have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding and Mutual Recognition Agreement (MOU/MRA) to recognize each organizations certification programs (CPHR, and MCIPM and FCIPM). 

CPHRs looking to receive the MCIPM or FCIPM certification should contact CIPM Nigeria to inquire for process recognition. 

 

Chartered Institute of Personnel Management Sri Lanka (CIPM Sri Lanka) 
The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management Sri Lanka and CPHR Canada have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding and Mutual Recognition Agreement (MOU/MRA) to recognize each organizations certification programs (CPHR, and MCIPM and FCIPM). 

CPHRs looking to receive the MCIPM or FCIPM certification should contact CIPM Sri Lanka to inquire for process recognition. 


Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM)

Please note that applications for the SHRM Pathway Tutorial program are currently paused, as the SHRM Exam Development Team is working to update its content.


Maintaining CPD Hours with Each Organization

You must maintain membership with CPHR Saskatchewan, be a member in good standing, and maintain Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours in order to maintain the CPHR designation.    

Organizations do not share information regarding CPD hours with each other. Members holding multiple designations will need to report their CPD hours to each organization at the interval each organization requires.
