Event Summary

What does it take to become an employer of choice for Indigenous talent — and how do you know where to begin? This webinar introduces Indigenous Works’ Employer of Choice Diagnostic Assessment, a strategic tool that helps organizations evaluate their current practices, align internally, and develop an efficient, organization-wide Indigenous inclusion strategy.

The session features a panel of Employer Partners (EPs) who have completed Step 1 of the Diagnostic and are now using their results to build coordinated, long-term Indigenous workforce strategies. Hear how the Diagnostic has helped them identify gaps, improve internal alignment, and establish a focused 3-year action plan for success.

Whether you’re just starting or looking to scale your efforts, this session offers a clear framework and proven insights to guide your next steps.

Learning Objectives

  • Understand how the Employer of Choice Diagnostic can help establish a measurable baseline and a 3-year roadmap for Indigenous inclusion.
  • Hear from a panel of employers who have completed Step 1 and used their results to improve efficiency, alignment, and strategy across their organizations.
  • Learn how to build internal readiness and move beyond checkmark approaches to drive meaningful Indigenous workforce engagement.
