In celebration of Pride and Psychological Safety month, Enough Already and OUTSaskatoon are partnering with CPHR Saskatchewan to provide a free webinar for HR professionals in Saskatchewan. The purpose of this webinar is to explore HR's role in creating a safe workplace for 2SLGBTQ+ employees.

Together, we will explore:

  • Foundational terms and aspects of identity;
  • How to acknowledge when we've made a mistake;
  • Microaggressions and the impacts of harm;
  • Empowering staff to respond as a bystander;
  • Best practices for employers in moving this work forward;
  • Local resources. 

This event will be recorded and shared with participants.

Speaker Bios

JESS FISHER (she/they) has a passion for creating systemic change and making space for learning and growth. As OUTSaskatoon's Gender Based Violence Education Coordinator, she works towards addressing the barriers and challenges Two Spirit, Queer, and Trans people face when accessing services, such as healthcare, mental health supports, justice, and education. Having grown up as a queer, Metis & White settler, Two Spirit woman in Saskatchewan (with roots in Duck Lake), they recognize the important role intersectionality, safety, and community play in violence prevention. She is committed to helping build a world where everyone is celebrated and supported, and no one feels the need to edit who they are in order to thrive.

NICOLE WHITE (she/her) is the Project Lead for Enough Already, a multi-stakeholder coalition determined to address and prevent workplace sexual harassment in Saskatchewan. Before joining Enough Already, she worked in community for nearly two decades and focused her professional work on gender-based issues and engaging marginalized populations. Nicole is a registered social worker and, in her spare time, spearheaded the non-profit, Moon Time Sisters, getting free menstrual products to girls in northern Saskatchewan to improve access to education.

LINDSEY DAHL, CPHR (she/her) has been contracted part-time with the Enough Already project since 2020. She is a CPHR with over 15 years of professional HR experience. Her current role is a HR Business Partner with the Public Service Commission in Saskatoon. In 2014, Lindsey completed a Master of Arts degree in Conflict Analysis and Management through Royal Roads University. She has a strong interest in working with employers to provide tools and strategies that will help to manage conflict in the workplace proactively.
