Become a CPHR
CPHR Saskatchewan is the exclusive certifying body in Saskatchewan for the nationally recognized Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation. The designation represents a commitment to a national standard of excellence, sets a benchmark for the practice of effective human resources, and emphasizes the strategic role of human resource management in business. In order to pursue the CPHR designation with CPHR Saskatchewan, one must be a resident and/or be working in Human Resources in the Province of Saskatchewan.

Becoming a CPHR in Saskatchewan:

Please note: The path to the CPHR Designation in Saskatchewan is not the same as HRPA (Ontario).
• Apply for Associate membership with CPHR Saskatchewan

• Register and pass the National Knowledge Exam ® (NKE)
• Upon successful completion you will become a "CPHR Candidate" and can represent as such
• Candidates have up to ten years to complete the final step – the Validation of Experience (VOE) Assessment.
• Maintain your Membership with CPHR Saskatchewan

• Confirm that a bachelor degree has been completed by sending us official transcripts from the granting university.
If a degree was completed outside of Canada, have IQAS or WES send an assessment of the degree directly to our office. For a full listing of acceptable credential bodies, click here.

*Official transcripts are required for proof of degrees. For transcripts to be considered official, they must be sent directly from the school to CPHR Saskatchewan's office via mail or courier.

CPHR Late/Reactivation Fee:

As per the CPHR and Certification Candidate policy, CPHR and Certification Candidates are required to be members in good standing in their provincial associations by renewing and paying membership dues on an annual basis; in this case by June 30
th annually. 

CPHR and Certification Candidate members who have not renewed their membership dues by June 30th and paid for them in full by July 31st will be required to pay a late/reactivation fee.  Please note, if you have not renewed by June 30th and paid in full by July 31st CPHR Saskatchewan reserves the right to revoke your CPHR designation and/or CPHR Certificate Candidate status.
