We are very pleased to announce that the association name has officially changed from that of Saskatchewan Association of Human Resource Professionals to Chartered Professionals in Human Resources (CPHR) Saskatchewan. A special meeting of the members was held yesterday and the membership unanimously supported the vote to change the name. Similarly, member associations in British Columbia, Yukon, Alberta, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland & Labrador have already changed their names to reflect the national designation - CPHR™.
We see the unanimous vote in favour of this new name and brand as a strong endorsement in the value of working together. Unifying all of the national member associations under one brand is a capstone for CPHR Canada and we are very proud of the new name and brand.
We will be working over the coming weeks to make all of the necessary formal changes. For those members who hold the CPHR designation, we will be hosting an event in September where the new certificates will be presented. If you not be able to attend the September event, you will be able to pick up your new certificate at the Regina and Saskatoon offices. Those who live outside Regina and Saskatoon will receive their new certificates in the mail.
Should you have any questions or concerns please contact the office at firstname.lastname@example.org or 306.522.0184.
