What HR trends are emerging in Canada? In this session, Deloitte will discuss the most recent Human Capital Trends Survey and emerging themes that will impact the HR profession.
Louise Wilson, Deloitte - Partner
Louise Wilson is a Partner Deloitte’s Human Capital practice based in Calgary. She has over 20 years of experience in functional human resource and consulting roles focused on building capability in organizations. Louise specializes in organization change implementation, large scale organization transformations, human resource function optimization, workforce effectiveness strategies and implementation of HRIS solutions. She works with HR and business leaders to create business value by aligning human capital strategies to business strategies to ensure organizations have the capability to meet their business objectives.
She also has HR Business Process Outsourcing experience as the General Manager overseeing the delivery of HR services to two very large clients in the Public Sector. The services provided spanned the full spectrum of HR including payroll, benefits administration, employee call center, recruitment, compensation and HRIS application support. In partnership with her clients, she worked to ensure that the HR functions were working as strategic business partners and maximum value was obtained from the HR service centers she led. She holds a Master of Public Management degree and is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR).
Catherine Schinkel, Deloitte - Senior Manager
Catherine is a leader in Deloitte's Human Capital Consulting practice, specializing in Human Resources Transformation. Prior to joining Deloitte, she spent over 20 years working in human resources for a variety of Winnipeg-based organizations, including Ceridian, MTS, and most recently, the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, where she was the first Director of HR. Today, Catherine works with Deloitte's clients to develop and implement HR strategies. She works closely with her clients to understand their business and to develop HR systems and strategies that support their goals and objectives. A big part of her role is staying ahead of current trends in HR so that she can help clients prepare and adapt, and she is looking forward to sharing information about the future of work with CPHR Saskatchewan.
