Continuing Professional Development Log extensions may be granted for special circumstances:

• Maternity/Parental Leave: An extension of up to one year, with verification from employer stating the dates of the leave period.

• Extended Illness Leave: An extension of up to one year, with verification from the employer stating the dates the member has been on leave.

A member who has requested and been granted an extension will not be given credit for professional development activities during the approved leave period.

The extension is requested in writing by the member to the Registrar and included in the letter is the documentation from the employer indicating the duration the member was away from work due to the above to stated leaves.  Please email your request to ralbahrani@cphrsk.ca

Please Note: CPHRs are required to remain members in good standing in their provincial association at all times; this includes time away on a leave of absence. Please ensure your profile is updated with an email address that we can reach you at for all important membership information.
