Nicole Norton Scott, BBA, CPHR

Nicole joined CPHR Saskatchewan as the Executive Director in August of 2011. She has ten years experience working in the human resources field. Her previous experience has been primarily as an HR Consultant with the Saskatchewan Public Service Commission and AECOM Engineering. Nicole has her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Regina as well as her CPHR designation. Nicole was the Saskatoon Program Chair and served on the CPHR Saskatchewan Board of Directors from 2007-2009 and has also volunteered on the Saskatoon Programming Committee from 2005-2007.

Nicole is passionate about the HR profession and looks forward to helping support the Association to advance the profession in the Province of Saskatchewan.

Nicole and her husband Jeff have two children who keep them busy, and in her spare time she teaches group exercise classes at GoodLife Fitness.


Kit Mazurak, BBA

Kit joined the team in November of 2011. Prior to that, Kit worked for Partners in Motion Group of Companies as the Marketing and Business Affairs Manager and for the Provincial Government’s Executive Council.

She brings with her extensive experience in developing and implementing marketing and communication strategies, planning and delivering events, managing websites and implementing social media strategies and tactics . Kit has earned a Bachelor of Administration Degree from the University of Regina majoring in Marketing and Human Resource Management.  Most recently, Kit got a certification in Digital & Social Media Strategy & Tactics through the University of Saskatchewan.

Kit works closely with the volunteer members of the Communications Committee in planning and implementing the strategic communications and marketing initiatives for the CPHR Saskatchewan Board of Directors.



Renee Boehm, BComm

Renee Boehm joined CPHR Saskatchewan in the spring of 2012 as the Accounting Coordinator. Renee has a Bachelor in Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan and has previously worked in the banking industry with RBC.

Over the past years she has enjoyed raising her three children and enjoys working from home on a part time basis.


Lauren Toppings, BBA

Lauren joined the CPHR Saskatchewan team in January of 2013. Lauren is a graduate from the University of Regina, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in Human Resource Management. Her previous work experience includes positions within the provincial government.

Lauren brings with her many years of administrative experience. She demonstrates proficiency in many information technology tools as a direct result of her work experience in the IT industry.

In June of 2016, Lauren assumed the responsibilities of Learning & Development Coordinator. Lauren is responsible for the annual CPHR Saskatchewan Professional Development Calendar, NKE Exam Preparation Workshops, webinars and other L&D offerings. She will also manage the Professional Mentoring Program. 


Ruaa Al-Bahrani, BBA
Administrative Coordinator

Ruaa graduated from the University of Regina majoring in Human Resources in August 2016. She was the recipient of the Business Faculty Dean's Medal and graduated with distinction.

Ruaa has many years of experience in customer service in the Telecommunications industry, is originally from Montreal and fluent in 3 languages English, French and Arabic.  She loves to travel and experience other cultures; her sights are set next on Egypt and Japan.
